What is ArcGIS?

ArcGIS is a geographical information system software. Visualizing the statistical description allows users to handle and analyze information based on geography. It was released in 1999 as ARC/INFO and was developed by ESRI (Environmental System Research Institute). It works in 2D and 3D with cartography and visualization employing artificial intelligence. This software is heavily relied upon by a pool of academic and research institutions, both in the field of science and humanities, for conducting and continuing with their groundbreaking research. Likewise, it is also used by several government bodies and private agencies. It can devise information that is accessible on the internet by the entire organization, publicly or privately. So, it performs like a platform that allows sharing and linking of geographical information and analytics.
